Your body is not a problem to be solved.

YOU are not a problem to be solved.

You deserve joy, safety, and comfort in your own skin. Period. But I know all too well, this is WAY easier said than done. And since you're looking into therapy, you deserve props too in my opinion. You clearly have self-awareness and a desire to grow.

But maybe you're feeling stuck.

Maybe you feel stuck in cycles of dieting and restricting, then bingeing when you just can't take it anymore. Hating what you see in the mirror (or avoiding it entirely), feeling miserable when certain clothes don't fit (or when they do), struggling to feel at peace in your body or safe with food.

Maybe you feel stuck in anxiety, overwhelm, shutdown, or burnout.

​

Maybe you feel stuck with incredibly high expectations of yourself, expectations that you know you've benefited from. But you also know it's so draining trying to meet them, so hard to cut yourself any slack, to slow down, to feel okay just being.

Maybe you feel stuck in your rational, self-aware, awesome brain, able to explain exactly why things in your life are a certain way, but with no clue how to move through it or change it.

Or maybe there are some past experiences you feel stuck in in some way.

Maybe all you know for sure is you're repeating some pattern you know isn't working for you, but you can't quite figure out how to break the cycle.

Well, that's where I come in (or at least, I'd like to!). When we're stuck, oftentimes we need someone with a helping hand to pull us out. Many of the patterns we end up in were very adaptive at one time. And yet, what we do to survive a messed up culture can often leave us hurting. So I'd love to be a helping hand to support you getting unstuck from body distrust and dislike, diet culture, perfectionism and rigidity, nervous system dysregulation, or shame. And I'd love to help you find your way into things like flexibility, self-compassion, safety, freedom, and embodiment.
